About This Project:
South Banasree is a large residential area of Dhaka under Khilgaon Thana in Bangladesh. The area is originally built with the purpose of being solely residential beside the Bangladesh Television Center in Rampura. The celebrated scenic view of the area, dominated by the Banasree Lake, is improving due to good urban planning. Overall, Banasree is one of the posh, aristocratic and well-planned residential areas of Dhaka and it is here where new apartments, commercial buildings and complexes are being built to fill up the vacant plots. The newly developed Hatirjheel Lake Road Project connects the area with Gulshan and Dhanmondi making it one of the most expensive suburbs in Dhaka city to live in, as land and apartment prices and rents have skyrocketed in recent times. Also, Banasree is dubbed as one of the safest area in Dhaka city to live in as crime rates are low compared to neighboring areas.
